What makes this brochure friendly, in spite of the cool colors?

The color blue is associated with calmness, and has, for some reason, also become associated with high-tech industries (perhaps we can thank IBM for that). Round shapes are also considered friendly and reassuring, and the globe on the front of this brochure has become a cultural symbol for World Wide Web.

The photo of the woman using a computer was also chosen to evoke a sense of calmness and ease, with relation to technology.
