Lions Club 5k T-Shirt

For the past few years, I've been doing the graphics for the Fayetteville Lions Club annual 5k. Normally, we've stuck with the Lions traditioal colors of purple and gold, but the race organizers decided to make a change this year, to more fashionable colors and a more modern design.

For inspiration, I went to fashion trends for summer/fall 2008, and pulled colors that would incorporate either the purple OR gold. The repetitve geometric shapes appear in both the poster and t-shirt, and the lion/5k design has become a standard graphic for the race, giving a sense of consistency from year to year.
